Email hosting – Beberapa IP email Yahoo masuk dalam daftar spam dari Spamcop. Ini menyebabkan, beberapa server yang menggunakan spamcop tidak dapat menerima atau mengirim email ke alamat email Yahoo dimana IP nya masuk daftar spamcop.

Bila anda tidak dapat menerima email atau mengirim email ke Yahoo, kemungkinan IP email Yahoo, terblok. Spamcop dalam penjelasannya menyampaikan agar menghubungi Yahoo agar spam dari Yahoo dapat dihentikan dan IP tidak masuk dalam daftar spam di Spamcop.

“This IP address is a webmail server that belongs to Yahoo and is being
used to send out large amounts of spam, including fraudulent 419 scams
amongst others. The amount of spam being sent through Yahoo has grown exponentially to the point it is tripping our listing defenses.

We can do nothing to stop the spam at its source. Only Yahoo can do
that. You should contact Yahoo with your complaints as only they can
stop the spam that will result in the server IP being delisted from the
SpamCop Blocking List.”

PHP error log :
# /home/cpaneluser/public_html/error_log

Web server ( Apache ) log :
# /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

Suexec log :
# /usr/local/apache/logs/suexec_log

MySQL Log :
# /var/lib/mysql/$(hostname).err
# /var/log/mysqld.log

FTP Log :
# /var/log/messages

E-mail Logs :
IMAP/POP/SpamAssassin and other general logs :
# /var/log/maillog

Mail System :
# /var/log/exim_paniclog ( Linux )

cPanel/WHM Installation log :
# /var/log/cpanel*install*

Cpanel/WHM Access log :
# /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log

cPanel/WHM Requests and Errors log:
# /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

Statistic Program Log:
# /usr/local/cpanel/logs/stats_log

cPanel/WHM Update Log :

Service Status Log :

Bila log penuh, maka umumnya akan muncul error: “Internal Server Error”. Sehingga pelu untuk membersihkan log secara rutin.

Database sizes shows zero in cPanel?

You may see the mysql database size as zero in cPanel >> ‘Mysql Databases’ option, though the databases contains tables and data. In order to include the size of the databases while displaying disk usage in cPanel/WHM, perform either of the following steps:
1) SSH to your server as root and edit the cpanel.config file

# pico /var/cpanel/cpanel.config

Search for

disk_usage_include_sqldbs=0

and change to

disk_usage_include_sqldbs=1

If the parameter is not present, add it. Save the file and execute the following command:

# /scripts/update_db_cache

2) Login to the WHM, goto Tweak Settings >> ‘SQL’ section and enable the following option:

When displaying disk usage in cpanel/WHM include Postgresql and MySQL.

This will fix the issue.

There was an error manipulating the password file. This generally means you entered your old password incorrectly.

While changing the cPanel password from cPanel >> Preferences >> Change password, you might face the following error:

There was an error manipulating the password file. This generally means you entered your old password incorrectly.

Even if you confirm the old password used is correct, still you might face this problem. This problem is faced due to inappropriate permissions set for the file /usr/bin/passwd. To sort this error you can do a simple trick (which worked for me! )

To sort this error login to the server as root and change the permissions for the file to 4511.

[root@server~] # chmod 4511 /usr/bin/passwd

Once done, try to change the password again from the cPanel. It should work!
